Prove it. Pull it.

Provuno runs skill-based competitions — not a lottery. This page explains in plain language how we guarantee fairness and how our prices are made up.

Provably fair: commit-reveal + drand

Before a Pull opens, we publish the SHA-256 fingerprint of a secret seed ("commit"). The result is already sealed at that moment: no one can change it later.

At draw time, we combine this seed with public randomness from drand (League of Entropy). drand is a distributed randomness beacon that Provuno alone cannot influence.

After the draw, we reveal the seed. You can then verify in your browser, on the Pull's page, that SHA-256(seed) === commit and that the winning ticket is indeed recomputed from HMAC(seed, drand_round). No server, no promise: the computation happens on your device.

Authenticity — every card graded, every product factory-sealed

Provuno's second trust pillar, alongside provably fair: only graded, only sealed — only proof.

  • Individual cards: graded by an independent third party (PSA, BGS or CGC). Grade and certificate number are shown on every Pull and verifiable directly with the grader.
  • Products: boosters, ETBs, boxes and displays are factory-sealed, never opened, never repacked. Authenticity comes from the original seal, verifiable on delivery.

This is a binding public commitment: every individual card in the catalogue is graded by an independent third party, and every product is factory-sealed. We would rather turn a lot away than break this rule.

Provuno Price: cost + fees + margin

Every ticket is itemised publicly:

  • Lot cost — purchase price of the graded card (supplier invoice or observed market price).
  • Operating fees — grading, vault, logistics, payment, KYC.
  • Provuno margin — explicit share, never hidden.

This breakdown is visible on each Pull's page. We do not promise any yield or future valuation.

Live odds

On every Pull, the winning probability is shown as 1 / N where N is the total number of tickets. It updates live as entries come in. Nothing hidden, no bonus multiplier.

Skill-based competition (not a lottery)

Entering a Pull requires solving a skill question before buying a ticket. This mechanism, required by the UK prize-competitions framework, distinguishes Provuno from a lottery.

A transparent breakdown of our revenue (Pulls, marketplace, Premium, vault, grading) is published on the revenue stats page.
